About the Guesthouse

The century homes in Mesopotamia are special to all the locals as they love our history and preserving it. Many of the locals have sat on our front porch in the past while enjoying the day. The home holds many memories, and we can’t wait to share our little town with you. If you are an early bird you’ll see the hustle and bustle of mornings as everyone is getting ready to be off to work. Then later again as people start to arrive home in the early afternoon. The evenings can be quiet or you may hear the clip clop of the horse and buggies going by. Wake up in the morning to a nearby puppy barking at the free range chickens and the crow of the rooster.

It was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. The place was exceptionally clean and one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, the AC kept us cool and comfortable, and the location was ideal — close enough to everything we needed, but still peaceful and quiet. Everything about our stay felt easy and well thought-out. You can tell the hosts put real care into making the space welcoming and functional. It was just an all-around great experience, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

My granddaughter and I stayed at this charming full of character home. We truly enjoyed our time together and was very comfortable. If we had the time we definitely would of stayed a few more days. The people are very friendly the business are worth a visit and will remind you of your childhood 😊 with all the unique finds. The town and area are such a Beautiful Gem. I would give Crys a 10+ if I could 💝.

We couldn’t have asked for a more charming, cozy, and relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless—everything we needed was already thoughtfully provided. The home was incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated. We were able to truly unwind without a single worry. Crys was the most wonderful host—responsive, kind, and attentive to every detail. The little surprises made it even more special: delicious cinnamon buns, cold drinks, and a generous gift card to the country store next door. We also loved the backyard animal friends, a delightful bonus for our family! We were in town for a restful getaway, and this location was perfect. Between the stores next door, the mining activity, and of course, our goat neighbors, we had plenty to explore, while also enjoying quiet, quality family time in a home that truly felt like a retreat. Every detail was so well thought out. Crys went above and beyond in every way. 5 stars all the way. We can’t wait to come back!
